Position Overview

With the guidance of the Business Intelligence Manager, the Data Analyst's primary focus is to support, create and update marketing and sales information. This inside position supports the efforts of field sales representatives and sales managers by maintaining and reporting on prospects, current customers and internal business systems.

Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):
  • Cross reference customer data with information from external sources for business development purposes.
  • Create and update reports based on website analytics.
  • Assist creating, maintaining, and distributing reports from other business systems.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining customer and sales information within CRM.
  • Train current and new users on proper use and management of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data, being the go-to person for all questions related to the program.
  • Work with The Raymond Corporation and other Sales and Service Centers to update and maintain account access for national accounts and any new data standards.
  • Assist sales representatives by creating intelligence reports that can help target specific customer dynamics.
  • Create, update, and maintain Power BI dashboards for the sales department
  • Continuously seek better and faster ways to get information out, whether it’s a new software solution or programming to automate a process or report.
  • Utilize Tableau to create data visuals.
  • Work with sales reps to insure our forklift forecast accuracy is correct.
  • Work with sales reps to determine what our active forklift population is.
  • Distribute and update leads received from website and service technicians.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in business, computer science, information systems, or related field
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Must have excellent business analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Must have experience manipulating data with strong analytic skills
  • Must be able to work with people of varying technical skills
  • Must be able to effectively communicate problems and processes
  • Must have effective time management and organizational skills
  • Business systems experience is preferred
  • Must place a high emphasis on continuous improvement
